Åsa and Ulf Nomark from Kungsbacka take over the Annedal Church this evening together with the over 100 strong Christmas choir "Pop-in & Sing Christmas Choir" and offer an extraordinary musical experience where you can both listen and enjoy, but also sing featured in some of the most famous and beloved Christmas carols.
In addition to a fantastic backing band consisting of Johan Thelin (bass), Per Boqvist (drums) and Viktor Olofsson (guitar), the string quartet "Klarakvartetten" also participates and gives the concert that little extra sparkle that hopefully gives you both goosebumps and Christmas spirit in a lovely combination!
The event starts at 19.00, but from 18.15 you can buy delicious Christmas coffee signed by Tomas Ulriksson for those who want to recharge some energy before the concert
Åsa and Ulf Nomark
Åsa and Ulf are from Kungsbacka and do concerts and choral events around Sweden. Their music has been sung by choirs throughout the country and also abroad. With their positive energy and infectious joy, they also want to encourage people to sing more in their song concept "Pop-in & Sing". Earlier this year, they released the album "Soar" and the inspirational book "Soar - drömmar, längtor och fyar" which was received well and where the singles "Tell Me" and "Soar" were among other things number one on the Swedish local radio list.
Klarakvartetten
This quartet from Gothenburg is in its twenty-seventh season and is one of the few Swedish string quartets that have had the same members since the beginning! Over the years, the quartet has given concerts in many of the country's chamber music associations, played pub shows, appeared on radio, TV and documented quartet music on two CDs that were played extensively in P2. The quartet has taken lessons for, among others, the Borodin, Chilingirian and Brodsky quartets in London, been on scholarship in New York and toured with the Gothenburg Opera's dance company to Madrid.
Pop-in & Sing Christmas Choir
As part of "Pop-in & Sing", Åsa and Ulf have organized both a summer choir and a Christmas choir, both of which have become more and more popular every year. This year, around a hundred wonderful singers are participating and give that awesome Christmas concert feeling.
